Jennifer McNeilly, LICSW

Jennifer “Jen” McNeilly is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with extensive experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2002 and completed her Master of Social Work, along with a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, in 2004.

Throughout her career, Jen has worked in a diverse range of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, schools, medical hospitals, outpatient oncology programs, and specialized eating disorder treatment centers. Her professional experience includes supporting oncology patients and their families as part of interdisciplinary treatment teams, as well as providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy for individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, and emotional adjustment challenges.

Jen has also completed specialized training through The Children’s Treehouse Foundation, equipping her to help families foster emotional support and resilience for children and adolescents coping with a parent, caregiver, or grandparent’s cancer diagnosis. In addition to her oncology-focused work, she has significant experience assisting clients and couples navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.

Jen is known for her warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to therapy. She believes strongly in each individual’s capacity for resilience, growth, and meaningful change. By working collaboratively with clients to establish personalized treatment goals, she integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, and Family-Based Therapy (FBT), to support lasting emotional wellness and personal growth.
