Dena provides therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, individuals, and families, utilizing a collaborative and individualized approach tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Her work is grounded in creating a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.

Her areas of clinical focus include:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Trauma and abuse

  • Addiction and recovery

  • Behavioral and mood-related challenges in children and adolescents

  • Grief, loss, and major life transitions

  • Stress management and personal growth

Dena’s therapeutic style integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy, combining evidence-based interventions with insight-oriented work to support emotional wellness, resilience, and long-term growth. She believes therapy should be both goal-oriented and solution-focused while remaining grounded in authenticity, empathy, and practical support.

Known for her warm, down-to-earth, and realistic approach, Dena helps clients develop the tools, confidence, and self-awareness needed to move forward with clarity and balance.

In addition to psychotherapy services, Dena also provides clinical supervision for social workers pursuing post-graduate supervision hours toward independent licensure.
