Carly McCarthy, LCSW

Carly McCarthy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) committed to helping individuals of all ages navigate the process of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire in 2021, where she also obtained a graduate certificate in Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice.

Carly has extensive experience working within school-based and clinical settings, supporting children, adolescents, and families facing emotional, behavioral, social, and academic challenges. Her clinical approach is grounded in trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based principles, emphasizing the importance of recognizing each individual’s resilience, personal strengths, and unique life experiences.

Carly strives to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, deepen self-awareness, and work toward meaningful and lasting change. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship serves as the foundation for growth, healing, and emotional well-being.

Her clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing:

  • Substance misuse and recovery-related challenges

In addition, Carly has experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQIAA+ individuals and communities. She is committed to providing inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive care that honors each client’s identity, values, and lived experiences.

Carly’s therapeutic work focuses on helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop greater confidence and emotional insight as they work toward achieving their personal goals and overall well-being.
