Carey Driscoll has dedicated more than 25 years to the fields of social work, behavioral health, and education, with over a decade of experience in private practice. Throughout her career, Carey has served in a variety of clinical, educational, and leadership roles, developing a comprehensive and compassionate approach to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Prior to establishing her private practice, Carey served as Principal of an all-boys residential school in California, where he worked closely with students facing significant emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. Earlier in her career, she worked as an educational consultant in Alaska and as a school adjustment counselor at a specialized therapeutic school outside of Boston serving students ages 5–21 who required intensive emotional and educational support beyond the traditional school environment.
Across every stage of her professional journey, Carey’s focus has remained consistent: identifying and understanding the underlying factors contributing to emotional and behavioral struggles in order to help individuals achieve meaningful and lasting change. She believes that true growth comes not from labeling individuals by diagnosis alone, but from gaining a deeper understanding of each person’s experiences, perspective, and unique story.
Carey’s therapeutic philosophy is grounded in the belief that behaviors make sense within the context of a person’s life experiences. By taking the time to understand how clients view themselves, others, and the world around them, he helps individuals develop greater self-awareness, emotional insight, and healthier patterns of coping and communication.
Known for her realistic, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach, Carey creates a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Her work is rooted in authenticity, connection, and the belief that every individual has the capacity for resilience, growth, and meaningful transformation.
Carey strongly believes that while everyone is capable of achieving great heights, lasting change and fulfillment begin with investing in yourself and taking the first step toward personal growth and healing.
